Hanstone: Canadian quartz, made in London, Ontario since 2009, with a limited lifetime warranty. Available by special order from Comptoir Quartz.
Why choose a Hanstone countertop?
Hanstone is the quartz brand of Hyundai L&C Canada, manufactured in London, Ontario since 2009 — Ontario’s only quartz plant. Made of about 93% natural quartz bound with resins and pigments, the material is non-porous, resists stains and scratches, and never needs sealing. Canadian manufacturing that reassures on both quality and proximity.
On price, North American manufacturing and a mid-range positioning often make Hanstone a softer-priced option than European brands with a comparable look. At Comptoir Quartz, quartz installs for $60 to $110 per square foot (median $75), measuring, fabrication and installation included. See the countertop pricing page for details by tier.
Full transparency: Hanstone is not kept in regular stock at Comptoir Quartz — the brand is available by special order, and lead time depends on supply.
